This is one of the world’s most sought-after dive destinations, full of rare and spectacular marine life. Cocos is home to some of the best big animal diving in the world! It is very well known for its large schools of Hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, manta rays and huge schools of bigger fish. This will be one epic adventure that Dan and I have been dying to visit since we started our underwater careers over 25+ years ago!

After spending plenty of time considering the different factors that go into when to travel to Cocos, we chose July, which is the absolute best time to see most everything that this amazing site has to offer. Since this is such a prize destination, we had to book our trip in the summer of 2025 to get the time and space that our special group requires! We are also going to switch things up and go with the highest rated liveaboard in the area called the Undersea Hunter, it gets even better reviews than the Aggressor, which is the company we have used in the past. 

We chose a 10-day live-aboard dive trip from July 9-19th, in 2025. (In case you didn’t know, it takes 1 full day to get to the dive sites around Cocos from Puntarenas and then 1 full day to get back after the diving is done) Our plan is to arrive 1 day early and stay at a resort in San Jose, Costa Rica so that we can all catch up and off gas from traveling. Then we will stay another night on the end of the trip, to relax for 1 more day before we start our journey back home.

Total trip time will be arriving in San Jose, Costa Rica on Tuesday July 8th, 2025 and leaving on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

Cost INCLUDES:

11-day / 10-night live-aboard accommodations

All Meals while onboard the yacht

(That’s 13 total days in Costa Rica, PLUS travel… so maybe as much as 15 days away depending on where you’re coming from)

It is possible to rent a whole cabin for yourself (no roommate), just let us know if that is something you’d like to do, and we’ll let you know the cost.

 Please let us know if you have any questions and let us know quickly and we can save your spot. We must put down a deposit right away to save our spaces and will require a 10% deposit to hold your spot!

CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY

Here is the Cancellation Policy that they hold us to, that we will simply pass along to you all (adjusted for our dates):

- A cancellation fee of 10% from the deposit is charged for all cancellations made before July 9, 2024.

- A cancellation fee of 10% from the total trip price is charged for all cancellations made before January 9th, 2025.

- All payments received are nonrefundable after January 9th, 2025.
